My name's Lala. I'm an audiovisual artist specializing in installation art. My work mainly concerns the dialogue between the visual and the auditory, light and air, shadow and reflection

I believe this to be true of my work too. For example:

Photo taken by Carla Crafford at my final year exhibition, October 2011
The lights are so installed as to change colour and so that when one’s shadow joins the shadows of the objects in the installation, different colours of shadows overlap.
Just a few photos so that one can get a general idea of the atmospheric content of my installations

I can’t wait for the exhibition!
Working hard on my installations for final year exhibition on the 19th of October 2011!
Here is one of the unfinished tracks that I created for my installations, mainly using Acid Music and Nuendo. This track was then edited so that each of the speakers in the installation plays a separate part.
We had our mid-year critique session on the 23rd of June, here are some photos of the installation work that I have done for my Honours Degree installation so far. Obviously the photos do not capture the sound, video and sound-reactive movement and lights, but Carla Crafford (find her on http://www.art.co.za/) beautifully emphasized the photogenic quality of the installation in the following photos:

And of course a photo of me behind my laptop, setting up the projections:

Any comments?
